BITSAT or Birla Institute of Technology and Science Aptitude Test is one of the toughest engineering entrance examinations today, attributed to BITS (set-up on the lines of Massachusetts Institute of Technology) being one of the best engineering colleges in our country. There are three BITSAT colleges in India and all three hold a unique value in terms of education.
BITS Pilani conducts BITSAT exam in online mode for admissions in UG and integrated first year programmes – B.E., B.Pharm., and M.Sc at different BITS campuses. Candidates who qualify BITSAT are offered admissions at any of the three BITS campuses – Pilani, Goa and Hyderabad. The entrance exam will be of three hours duration, comprising of 150 multiple choice questions divided into four parts. Each question has four answer options, out of which candidates will have to choose one correct answer. A very interesting feature of the exam is that if the candidates complete the given set of 150 questions without skipping any questions, they will be allowed to answer 12 additional questions to score more in the exam.
