NTSE 2012-13 (Final Level) Results announced

Three students from Centre for Advanced Learning(CFAL), Kuntikan, Mangalore have successfully cleared the National Level NTSE 2012-13 Examination.

These students have carved a name for themselves and to Mangalore by being within the only 64 selected students from Karnataka. A total of 1035 students have been selected this year from the country at thenationwide competitive examination conducted by the National Council for Education and research, (NCERT) an institution, working in the direction of nation building.

These successful students are called National Talent Scholars. They will be eligible for a scholarship of Rs.500/-per month from I PUC till they finish their Ph.D. The NCERT comes under the Ministry of Human Resources, Govt. of India.

The selection process is in two stages. First, State level and then at National level.This year, 50711 students had appeared for the State level NTSE Exam from Karnataka, held on 18 November 2012.The Department of State Education and Research Training (DSERT) had selected 223 studentsfrom among them through a competitive examination.
